TWO LONG TIME CASS RESIDENTS DIE EARLY TODAY

Mary Ellen Stormer of This City and Sarah Ann Sullivan of Near Massena Dead.

Two long time residents of this county, Mrs. Mary Ellen Stormer, 304 East Sixth street, and Mrs. Sarah Ann Sullivan of Massena township, were called by death today. Mrs. Stormer has lived in this vicinity since the early seventies and Mrs. Sullivan, a native of Missouri, came to Cass county in 1883 where she has since made her home.

Mrs. Stormer, the wife, of Oscar Stormer, died at 8 o’clock this morning at the late home here, death resulting from anemia. Deceased had been in poor health for three years and bedfast for the past week. She was born July 2, 1860, in Des Moines county, this state, the daughter of John E. and Helen Wright, and was married to Oscar Stormer in this city on Nov. 30, 1876. Mr. and Mrs. Stormer lived on a farm eleven and one-half miles south east of this city until nine years ago, when they moved to Atlantic.

Deceased is survived by her husband and nine children, John at home; Mrs. William Smith, of Atlantic, Harry of Prescott, Myron, Walter, Chester and Horace of this city, Edward of Clarinda and Mrs. Nellie Chase of Atlantic. One daughter, Mrs. Mary Schultz, died in May, 1918, and three children died in infancy.

As yet no funeral arrangements have been made.
