MRS. RALPH DURR, FORMER ATLANTIC WOMAN, SUCCUMBS

Mrs. Irma Durr, 52, wife of Ralph Durr and former resident of Atlantic, died at her home in Denver, Colo., this morning as the result of diabetes. She had been in failing health for some years.

Mrs. Durr was born in Atlantic, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Fudge, and following her graduation from the Atlantic high school, was a teacher in Cass county rural schools. She was married to Mr. Durr April 2, 1912, and the family resided at Indianola prior to going to Denver several years ago.

Surviving are the husband, a son, Robert Durr, of Houston, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Winifred Pahel, Jr., of Denver; three sisters, Mrs. Earl Smiley of Dallas Center, Mrs. Ernest Shaw of Indianola, and Mrs. Reba Foster of Des Moines; two brothers, Robert Fudge of Houston, Tex., and Joe Fudge of Jefferson; a grandson and a granddaughter.

Mr. Durr’s mother, Mrs. Fred Durr, of Atlantic, leaves tonight to attend funeral services which will be held in Denver Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Interment will be there. Other relatives living in Iowa are also planning to attend the rites.
