WIFE OF ATLANTIC BOTTLER, DIES AT BLUFFS HOSPITAL

Mrs. Libbie M. Fuhlendorf Dead After Illness of but Few Weeks. Funeral Here Tomorrow.

Mrs. Libbie M. Fuhlendorf, wife of Christian G. Fuhlendorf of the Atlantic Bottling works, and well known local lady, died yesterday afternoon at 1:30 at the Jennie Edmundson hospital at Council Bluffs after an illness of several weeks with heart trouble. Mrs. Fuhlendorf had been suffering from heart disease for some time and had been at the Bluffs hospital eight days.

Native of Illinois

Deceased, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Bert, was born Dec. 24, 1868, in Illinois. She was born Dec. 24, 1868, in Illinois. She was married to C. G. Fuhlendorf on May 3, 1902, at Lebanon, Mo., where they lived until moving to St. Louis two years later. In 1918 Mr. and Mrs. Fuhlendorf came to Atlantic, where they have since made their home. Their present home is at 101 West Third street.

Mrs. Fuhlendorf is survived by her husband, one son and two daughters. The son is Christy G. Fuhlendorf, at home, and the daughters are Mrs. Madge Sewell of Chicago and Mrs. Troy Young of Rochester, N. Y. One sister, a half brother and one grandson also survive. The sister is Mrs. Rosa Bass of Sacramento, Calif., and her half brother is Charles Hammill of Riverside, Calif.

Interment in Missouri.

The body was brought here today and will lie in state at the Roland, Peacock & Baxter funeral home until the funeral hour tomorrow. The services, which will be held at the funeral home, will be at 3 o’clock, the Rev. William Mack of the First Presbyterian church officiating. The body will be taken tomorrow night to Lebanon, Mo., where interment will be made.

NOTE: Libbie M. (Best) Sewell Fuhlendorf was the second wife of Christian Gearhart Fuhlendorf. Her first husband was W. Oscar Sewell. Obit has Libbie's maiden name as "Bert", but other sources have "Best".
