Married.

One by one the old bachelors succumb to the inevitable. Thursday evening, May 1st, at 4 o’clock p.m., Mr. G. W. Ringle and Miss Belle Butler were united in marriage. The nuptial knot was tied by Rev. J. D. Moore, of Atlantic, at the residence of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Butler. The happy couple were waited upon by Messrs. E. O. and J. B. Butler, and Misses M. A. Bickett and Nellie McFarland.

After receiving the hearty congratulations of the few relative and intimate friends of the bride and groom, who were present, the guests partook of a most elegant supper, to which they all did ample justice. The good wishes of their many friends accompany them to their new home. Following is a list of the presents:

Washbowl and pitcher, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Butler; bedspread and set of napkins, Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Harris; water set, Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Smith; castor, Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Mills; silver butter knife, Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Butler; silver dollar, Grandpa Butler; cake basket, Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Butler; towel rack, Brother Bertie; water pitcher and large easy chair, E. O. Butler, J. B. Butler, Miss Bradshaw, Mary Bickett and Nellie McFarland; pair towels, Sala Mills; set sauce dishes, Emmet Butler and Ellery Mills; jelly dish, Mrs. Dr. Weidner; fruit dish, Elsie Herbert.
