Limpus-Keeley

Yesterday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Berry east of the cemetery occurred the marriage of Edwin M. Limpus son of Frank M. Limpus of this city to Miss Mabel Keeley, daughter of Geo. Kelley. Rev. Mack of the Christian church performed the ceremony. Only the immediate relatives were present, the wedding being a very quiet one. The young people are poplar and well-to-do in this community. The young couple went at once to their new home on the old Elroy Cook farm east of town which farm the groom bought recently. The Telegraph joins their many friends in congratulating them.

NOTE FROM CONTRIBUTOR: Edwin Limpus was married twice, first to Alma Alice Berry August 28, 1901 in a double ceremony; Dollie Limpus and Ira Berry were married at the same time. Alma and Ira are 1st cousins once removed. Edwin's second marriage was to Mabel Florence Keeley March 8, 1911. The first marriage ended in divorce and Alma later married to Andrew Christian Christensen on August 27, 1923 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
