Local Young People Wed in Des Moines

Ellery Harris of this city and Miss Mae Frost, also of Atlantic, were married Sunday at University Place Church of Christ, Des Moines, Dr. Charles Medbury, pastor of the church, conducting the marriage service. The bridal party was attended by the bride’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Frost of Des Moines.

Mrs. Harris is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Frost of this city. She has been employed for some time with the Northwestern Bell telephone exchange here. Mr. Harris, local scoutmaster, is employed with the Welch-Moore Shoe company. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harris, 801 Mulberry street.

Mr. and Mrs. Harris will make their home in Atlantic, where they have many friends.

NOTE FROM CONTRIBUTOR: Ellery Harris and Mae Frost were married March 31, 1929 in Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa. However, Iowa Marriage Records 1880-1937 collection lists date of marriage as April 1, father of bride, Frank F. Frost, and mother of the bride, Myrtle Hill.
