Reception to Mr. and Mrs. Childs.

The reception given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. Gillette last evening in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Childs, who were married a few days ago at Escanaba, Mich., was a very pleasant and notable affair. About sixty guests were present. They were received at the door by Mrs. W. T. Porterfield and Mrs. Clyde Campbell and Mrs. Dr. Williams assisted in the dining room. The tables were decorated in red with roses and candles. The young couple were given a royal welcome.

A dinner party will be given in honor of the young couple at the Harlan home this evening by Mrs. Harlan and Mrs. Campbell.
