Miss Ruth Wells Bride
Of Atlantic Young Man

The marriage of Miss Ruth Wells,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Wells,
to Leland Owen, a young man from
Atlantic, took place Tuesday evening
in Council Bluffs. The couple were
accompanied to the Bluffs by Miss
Vera Mertes and Lloyd Klever.

The bride is one of the popular
young ladies of this community. She
was graduated from the Exira high
school in 1926 and during the past
two years has been teaching in the
rural schools. She has had splendid
home training and is well qualified to
take up the duties of home making.

The bridegroom is a graduate of
the high school at Howard, South
Dakota, and attended the South Da-
kota University at Vermillion, where
he completed a business course. He
has been in the employ of Swift &
Co. in Atlantic from some time and af-
ter a wedding trip to points in Ne-
braska and South Dakota they will
make their home in that city.
