W. W. Tregloan, 96, pioneer resident of Carroll County, died Nov. 9 at Minneapolis, Minn., where he had lived the past 21 years.

Graveside rites were held Wednesday at the Carroll Cemetery, with the Rev. D. Merle Hill officiating. Funeral services had been conducted in Minneapolis Tuesday, at the Washburn McReary Chapel, by Dr. Chester A. Pennington, pastor of the Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church.

Born June 13, 1873, in Carroll County, he was a member of one of four families who pioneered and settled the former Beulah District southwest of Carroll. He was married to Edna O. Baskerville, of Wilmington, Ill., and remained on the homestead farm until he retired at the age of 75 and moved to Minneapolis.

His health remained excellent through the years, and he died after a short illness.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John (Nelta) Felker of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Mrs. Henry (Wilda) Petersen of Minneapolis; and Mrs. Wyman (Thurley) Petersen of Carroll; one brother, Louis L. Tregloan, Yakima, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. Fred Watts, Roundup, Mont.; also two grandchildren, Perry W. Petersen of Minneapolis and Mrs. Gerald Brustman, Roseville, Minn.
