LAKE CITY - Mrs. Leora Burley, 93, of Lake City died here Sunday morning Feb. 1, at Stewart Memorial Hospital.

Rites will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Hoffman Memorial Chapel, Lake City, with James R. Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Lake City Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday at Huffman's.

Mrs. Burley was born Oct. 8, 1882, in Greene County, a daughter of Squire William and Mary Brock Campbell. Her marriage to Harry Burley took place here March 29, 1906; he died in 1964. She was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses.

Mrs. Burley is survived by six daughters: Blanche Edgington, Vivian Hodges and Bernice Arthur, all of Lake City; Merle Gray of Farnhamville, Helen Knowles of Pocahontas and Ethel Baldwin of Sioux City; two sons, Glenn and Loren of Lake City; 26 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren.
