Carroll Daily Herald - Friday, January 19, 1934 - Mrs Fred E Bell died last night at St Anthony hospital following several weeks of severe illness. Death was caused by nephritis.

Alyce L Starks was born May 5, 1884 at Boone, the daughter of Mr and Mrs John W Starks. She lived in that city until the time of her marriage to Fred E Bell, Aug 13, 1918.

Besides her widower, Mrs Bell is survived by her father, John W Starks, of Minneapolis; 5 brothers: Percy of Carroll; Ralph of Boone; Earl, Lloyd and John Jr of Minneapolis; and one sister, Mrs Arthur Bell (Lucy) of Minneapolis. She also leaves David Davis, a half brother of Mr Bell, whom they raised from childhood.

She was preceded in death by her mother, who died 23 years ago and one brother, Glenn, who died 22 years ago. Mrs Bell was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. No arrangements have been made for the funeral.
