April 25, 1918 - Carroll Times - Mrs. Walter Wagner died at the hospital Sunday afternoon, April 21, after an illness since Monday. Her sickness was very painful and from the first her life was feared for. The funeral was held at S.S. Peter and Paul's church Wednesday morning and she was laid to rest in the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Wagner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Borsch, was born in Germany 36 years ago and came to America with her parents when two years old. Since arriving in America she has lived continuously in this city.

She is survived by her husband; one little daughter, Irene; her parents; one sister, Mrs. Gute, of Dedham; and one brother, Nick, of Randolph, Nebraska. (The last name was misspelled in the obituary)
