April 2, 1979 - Carroll Daily Times - Mrs. Edward O. (Minnie) Wieland, 80, a life-long resident of Carroll County, died early Tuesday at St. Anthony Regional Hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services, under direction of the Dahn & Woodhouse Funeral Home, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev Ernest W. Larson officiating. Burial will be in the Carroll cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in Carroll after 7 p.m. Thursday. The casket will be moved to the church at 8:30 a.m. Friday

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Esther Dallenbach of Friendship Haven, Fort Dodge, nieces and nephews.

Mrs Wieland was born June 30, 1888, at Rockwell City, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richter. She was married to J. Arthur Pascoe at Rockwell City Jan. 14, 1914. He died July 4, 1943. On Oct. 23, 1962 she was married to Edward O. Wieland at Omaha, Neb. He died in 1973.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and was a charter member of the Beulah Country Club.
