Nov 23, 1934 - Carroll Daily - Funeral services for Mrs Symon Burgan were held last Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Carrollton U.B. church, conducted by Rev Ray Thompson. Mrs Wanita Partrick, Mrs Earl Raybuck, and John Annear, accompanied by Miss Grace Annear, at the piano. Mrs Burgans favorite hymn "How Wonderful, How Marvelous" was sung.

Mrs Burgan was past 80 years old. She leaves her husband, Symon Burgan, and a number of relatives and friends. Burial was in the Carroll cemetery.
