April 11, 1898 - Carroll Sentinel - Died, Saturday night, Mrs. Hiram Aldrich, age 41 years. The deceased was the mother of seven children, including a pair of twins 4 years of age, all of which survive her. The ailment of which she died was pneumonia preceded by measles. The funeral was held Monday at the house conducted by Rev. Tennant. Burial at East Liberty cemetery.
