Death of John Wurzer.

John Wurzer, one of Pleasant Valley's most highly respected and prosperous farmers, died at his home near Willey last Wednesday, after illness of long duration. The funeral occurred last Friday at the Catholic church at Willey, Rev. Father Gehling officiating.

The deceased was one of the pioneer residents of Carroll county and by industry and careful management accumulated a comfortable competence, which he leaves to his wife and children. Mr. Wurzer spent considerable time at medical institutes and watering places in the hope of finding relief from his ailment, which was of a dropsical nature. His efforts proved futile and he returned home to await the end in a spirit of resignation to the will of his divine creator. Deceased was about 50 years of age, and besides his family; leaves his aged father to mourn his death. Peace to his ashes.
