Mrs. Sylvester Thelen died last Friday evening after a short illness. Her death was caused by an attack of heart failure. Deceased was about 65 years of age and had lived with her husband on their farm north of town for a number of years, they being some of the early pioneer settlers of this vicinity. An aged husband and four children are left to mourn her demise. The surviving children are John of Tilden, Neb., and Pete, Anton and Mrs. B. O. Nieland of this place. The funeral was held Monday morning from the Catholic church and interment was made in the Catholic cemetery. The funeral was largely attended, showing the esteem in which the deceased was held in this community. The grief-stricken relatives have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
