Westside -- James Killeen, 83, of Westside, died Saturday at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, where he had been a patient since last Tuesday. He had been in failing health for a year and bedfast four months. Funeral services will be at 9:30 Tuesday morning at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Vail. The body is at the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison.

Mr. Killeen was preceded in death by his wife and a son, Fay Killeen, both of whom died in 1951.

Surviving children are Emily Killeen, Westside, Lawrence Killeen, Phoenix, Ariz, who is here now, and Mrs. Fred (Maurine) Winters, Tujunga, Calif.

He also leaves one brother, Frank Killeen, Westside; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Leona Killeen, Breda, and three grandchildren, Kitty Winters, Tujunga, Calif., and Carol Ann and June Killeen, Breda.

Mr. Killeen, a farmer, lived at the northwest edge of Westside.
