John Gibbons

GIBBONS, MCCONEKY

I am seeking information on the death of John Gibbons or Alec McConeky who moved to Calhoun County about 1889. Both were husbands of Margaret.

Family legend has it that
one of Margaret's husbands was blown away in a tornado and his body was never found. Unfortunatly, I have no idea what year this was to have happened or to which husband. I would guess prior to, or just after 1900, as there were supposedly still children in the home.

If anyone is researching the Gibbons or McConeky family, or has access to old records that might tell about this, I would be very interested in confirming that this actually happened and getting more information about it.
