Lake City –Peggy Owen died Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Shady Oaks Care Center in Lake City at the age of 76 years. Peggy Kay Owen was born on June 14, 1944 in Lake City, Iowa to Ralph and Lela (Painter) Titus. She graduated from Lytton High School in 1962, and then attended AIB in Des Moines. Peggy worked as a direct support provider at Opportunity Living and was a member of TOPS and Circle, JAF Club, and she enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and collecting Precious Moments.
Peggy is survived by her sons Calvin Owen of Maxwell and Michael (Sue) Owen of Leland; grandchildren Dyllon (Emily) Owen, McKenzie Owen and Caitlyn Owen; great-grandchildren Theodore and McKinley Owen; mother Lela Mae Titus; and sisters Linda Potts and Martha (Jim) Potts.
