(January 27, 1960 - July 24, 2021)

Leslie A. Junkman – age 61, of Pomeroy, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. Leslie Ann Wilson was born January 27, 1960, in Loma Linda, California. She was the daughter of Ronald Wilson and Linda (Rich) Cooper. She graduated from San Bernardino High School. Leslie lived a majority of her life in southern California, where she worked as a paralegal. She later worked as a Civilian Marine for 3 years at Twenty-nine Palms, California Marine Base. Leslie moved to Iowa in 2012 and worked at Hudson Law Firm as a paralegal and at the Pomeroy Care Center as a CNA. She then worked as office manager for the Pomeroy Care Center. Leslie was very passionate about working with and caring for the residents at the Care Center. Leslie was a member of Hope United Methodist Church, where she was baptized at the age of 58. She loved music, sewing, spending time outside and having slumber parties with her grandson, Ryzin. Leslie had a strong faith and a great sense of humor. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include her children, Josh (Alexis) Kramer of Beaumont, CA, Paige (Westin) Lenz of Manson, Christian Lewis-Wilson of Manson and David Anderson of Pomeroy; 13 grandchildren; step-mother, Lynn Wilson of Big Bear City, CA; sisters, Susan Crary of Manson and Leslie Wilson of CA; brothers, Loron (Julie) Wilson of AZ and Mark Wilson of CA. Leslie was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Ashley Wilson-Chamberlain; brother-in-law, Joe Roman and step-mother, Pauline Crane.
