Rex Rand Rusher
(September 25, 1959 - September 23, 2023)

Rex Rand Rusher, age 63, of Robbinsdale, MN, formerly of Lake City, IA, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at his home in Robbinsdale. Richard Joseph Lamberty. was born on September 25, 1959, in Denver, CO. He was adopted when he was five weeks old by Richard and Beverly (McCaulley) Lamberty. Richard was the first adopted of five children. When he was around six or seven, Richard and his family moved to Lake City. He graduated from Sioux City, IA high school and enlisted to serve his country in the United States Navy. He was a part of the Atomic Submarine Corps but was discharged due to the lack of submarines. Sometime in the 1990s while he was working in the film industry, he changed his name to Rex Rand Rusher. Rex spent several years working in the Hollywood film industry and later moved to New York to be an administrative assistant. After some time, Rex moved to Minnesota and worked at Target Corporate Offices.
Rex was very into fashion and following the latest clothing trends. He enjoyed listening to music, especially Madonna. She was his favorite artist. In his free time, Rex attended concerts and frequently visited the Minneapolis Art Museum. Rex was an adventurist. He loved traveling, eating at fine restaurants, listening to music, and attending as many concerts as he could. A few years ago he even took his brother Shawn and sister Leona on a trip to England to watch the royal wedding. Rex loved his family. Above all, His mom was the light of his life and He loved all his nieces and nephews dearly. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother Beverly Lamberty of Manson, IA; sisters: Leona Davis of Littleton, CO, Kathleen (Chris) Prima of Clarksville, TN, and Dora Pudenz of Carroll, IA; and nieces: Heather(Scott) Anderson of Manson, IA(Austin, Dausin, Jaydin, Caydin, Tysin, Raygin, and Kamdin), Allie(Will) Daniel of Lake City, IA(Zoie, Jersie, Blakelie, Melodie, and Ayden), CeCe(David) Weaver, nephews: Justin(Amanda) Pope, Chandler Lamberty, Gage Lamberty, and several other special nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Rex was preceded in death by his father Richard Frank Lamberty, brother Shawn Lamberty, and Life Partner Craig Seacotte.
