Veteran Manson Dentist Funeral Rites Tuesday
Dr. T. P. Francis Practices Profession for 50 Years
Funeral services for Dr. Thomas P. Francis, 80, veteran Manson, Ia. doctor, were held from the home Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. E. A. Lang, pastor of the Congregational Church in charge. Dr. Francis died Sunday, Aug. 11. Dr. Francis was born in Erie County, Pa., Apr. 4, 1846, and came to Iowa with his parents in 1865. He was married to Alma Turner in May 1883. A dentist for 53 years, Dr. Francis practiced his profession until he reached the advanced age of 83 years. Dr. Francis is survived by his wife and four children, one son, Leslie of Coffeyville, Kans., and three daughters, Mrs. Helen Easton of Lohrville, Dr. Maisie Shideler of Storm Lake and Mrs. A. B.
