Drowned While Swimming.
Cecil Decker, a young man of Lake City, Mills county, was d{r}owned in the Coon river near Lake City while swimming. Decker and a friend were visiting a party of campers, who have been on an outing near Lake City for two weeks. After dinner they went swimming and Decker was seized with cramps. The body was recovered an hour later.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Lohrville, Calhoun County, Iowa. He was born February 16, 1891 and died July 26, 1908
