While Mrs. Ellis Teath was sleeping in her yard suffering from a severe headache her two little children, Helen, aged three years and three months, and Harriet, aged two years, were drowned in North Coon river, southeast of Lake City. As the mother was sleeping the two children wandered off to the river a short distance away and waded into the water and were drowned.
