Obituary
Winifred, 87, passed away March 24 at Mercy Medical Center. A Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, March 28 at 11 a.m. in Franklin Hall at First Federated Church, Des Moines, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.

Winifred Jean Cherry, the daughter of Clifford and Florence (Williams) Cherry, was born May 24, 1925 in Rockwell City, Iowa. She enjoyed animals and working in the yard, but especially loved spending time with her family.

Winifred was an active member of First Federated Church.Winifred is remembered by her husband, Robert; her daughters, Hope and Holly; foster daughter, Sue; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
