Services were held Tuesday, July 12, 1977 at 10 a.m. from St. Francis Catholic Church, Rockwell City, Iowa for Rose I. Collins, Rev. R. William Phillips officiated.

Rose Irene Collins, daughter of Frank and Katherine Imhoff Masterson, was born March 6, 1904 at Manson, Iowa and passed away at Trinity Regional Hospital, Fort Dodge, Iowa on July 9, 1977 at the age of 73 years.

Mrs. Collins moved with her parents to near Piper, Iowa and graduated from high school at Rockwell City. On January 25, 1924 she was united in marriage with Leo G. Collins at Rockwell City. Following their marriage they farmed northeast of Rockwell City. She moved into Rockwell City in 1967. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, St. Francis Altar Society and the GGG Club.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband in 1963; one son; one daughter; one granddaughter, Shona and two brothers. She is survived by five sons, Jim of Lovelock, Nevada and Bill, Larry, Jerry and Mike, all of Rockwell City; one daughter, Mary (Mrs. Gary Warner) of Rockwell City; 23 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Roger Collins, John Collins, Chet Collins, Clay Collins, Cal Collins, Chad Collins, Craig Collins, Mark Collins, Gene Warner, Curt Collins, Joe Collins, Paul Collins and Kam Collins.

Final resting place is St. Francis Cemetery, Rockwell City, Iowa.--ADVOCATE, Rockwell City, Calhoun Co, IA
