Mrs. L. O. Ferrand Is Buried Monday

Mrs. Kathryn Masterson Ferrand, 65, who lived in Manson for a number of years, was called to her eternal home July 1938, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. P. Wingerson, at Lake City, Ia.

Mrs. Ferrand was born at Big Rock, Ill., on July 2, 1873. She was married to Lester O. Ferrand at Manson, and to this union eleven children were born, one son, George, died at the age of 10.

Those who are left to mourn her passing are her husband, Lester O. Ferrand, four sons and six daughters. They are Mrs. A. E. Stadley, Minahga, Minn., Pauline Curry, Chicago, Ill., Ben Ferrand, Fort Dodge, William, Sioux Falls, S. D., Mrs. C. P. Wingerson, Lake City, Ia., Ted Ferrand, Chicago, Mrs. Arthur Timmons, New Lisbon, Wis., Mrs. L. C. Luyan, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Betty and Earl of Chicago. She also leaves five grandchildren, one brother and three sisters, all of whom attended the funeral, which was held at the Methodist church at Rockwell City on Monday afternoon.
