ARCHIE HETLAND

A service for Archie Hetland, 66, of Modesto will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow in the Emanuel Lutheran Church with the Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in the Acacia Memorial Park.

A native of Somers, Iowa and Modesto resident 32 years, he died Saturday in a local hospital following a brief illness. He was a feed salesman for Brown & Villas Milling Co. and a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church and the Sons of Norway Lodge.

Survivors are his widow, Myrtle Hetland; two sons, Keith Hetland of Pleasant Hill and David Hetland of Arcadia; a daughter, Ruth Murray of Sonora; two brothers; two sisters, Gladys May of Modesto and Doris Ellefson of Turlock, and six grandchildren.

The family requests any remembrances be made to the Emanuel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
