Obituary: Calhoun County Republican, Thrusday, May 18, 1939

Mrs. Kate Schneider, about 73, died at her home here at 4 p.m., Saturday from the effects of a heart allack she suffered Tuesday. She had been a resident of this community for a long period of years, coming here from eastern Iowa.
Mrs. Schneider leaves four sons, Ernest of Churdan, Roy of Gowrie, Will and Farlow of Farnhamville, Mrs Charlotte Myer of Algona and Mrs Clara Decker of Gowrie and several grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Congregational church. Burial was made in Reading cemetery.

Note: Kathrina (Sparrenberger) Schneider b. 1866 in New York (Moved to Benton Co. Iowa abt 1870) married Henry Schneider, b. Oct 1855, NY, d 1920, Farnhamville
