Rufus Dehart and Nancy E. McCauley

On the evening of November 22 a company of relatives, to the number of thirty, or more, gathered at the home of Mr. Geo. McCauley in Calhoun township, to witness the marriage of Miss Nancy E. to Mr. Rufus P. Dehart, son of Wm. Dehart.

Promptly at seven o’clock, p.m. the bride and groom, attended by Mr. Charles Lumpkin and Miss Alla Dehart, entered the room and stood under the tastety (?) arch that had been made for the occasion, while the marriage ceremony was pronounced by Rev. J. W. Allen of Lake City. Hearty congratulations followed from all present. The company then sat down to an excellent supper that had been provided by the hostess and her daughters. Mr. and Mrs. Dehart received numerous valuable and useful presents at the hands of their relatives and friends. These will be souvenirs of the joyful occasion and useful in the equipment of their home. Mr. Dehart and wife will make their home with his father who also lives in Calhoun township.
