Married.- At 10 o'clock a.m. on Wednesday, May 1st, Mr. Geo. Vogel to Miss Emma Birdsall, Rev. Swem officiating.

Fifty invited guest were present, among which were Mrs. Scott and son Homer, of Rockwell; Mr. Hill, wife and daughter, Vinton, Iowa; Mrs. Camp and daughter, Dana, Mr. Taggert and sister, Mr. Burnside and Miss Ballard, of Odebolt, Iowa. Their presents were numerous and handsome. No list given.

After dinner Capt. R. A. Smith and wife were called before the company and a valuable book presented them by Mrs. Birdsall in memory of their 38 wedding anniversary, their wedding having occurred at the same hour 38 years before. Mrs. Smith responded in a few well chosen words thanking them for the kind remembrance. The happy couple took the 2 o'clock train for Clinton, where they will visit friends and relatives.
