Married
On Saturday evening, October 16, at the Methodist parsonage Rev. A. H. Bryan officiating, occurred the marriage of two of the popular young people of the community, Miss Ruth Noe and Mr. Lloyd Z. Smith. Both of them are well known to all, the groom having been born here and living here ever since; the bride having come to Lake City over a year ago and holding a position since in the telephone offices where by her obliging spirit she has won the friendship of all. Mr. Smith is a member of the grocery firm, Eakin & Smith. These young people will start out in their matrimonial career with the best wishes of all. They left for Des Moines on the evening train and will return some time this week and take up their residence in the suite of rooms in the Geo. B. McCrary home.
