ERB-COOK At the conclusion of the regular services at the M. E. Church on last Sabbath evening, Miss Amber Swem at the organ played appropriate music while the bride, Miss Maud Cook and the groom, Mr. Wm. Erb, came in to the church accompanied by Dr. C. I. Bart and Miss Lulu Toliver as best lady and gent. The bridal couple and attendants appeared before the altar and the pastor, Rev. E. G. Swem, by the use of a nice ceremony pronounced Mr. Erb and Miss Cook one.

After the ceremony the little party left the church as quietly as they came. While the ceremony took place out of the usual form in this community it was nevertheless at once proper and unique.

Mr. Erb is one of the honored and trusted conductors of the C & N. W. Ry and a man in every regard. Miss cook has passed nearly her whole life here one of the best young ladies of the community. The union of this happy pair is especially a happy one, insuring their future happiness and success. At 12, midnight, following the ceremony a party of serenaders paid their compliments to the bridal couple in strains of selected music. On Monday Mr. and Mrs. Erb took the train east for a short trip, The Graphic with their many other friends wishes them a long a happy life. They were presented with many elegant and useful wedding presents, of which no list will be given.
