Caused a Boy’s Death.
Shell Rock, Oct. 6. The young son of John P. Hall was instantly killed last night by jumping from a wagon as the team was running. A neighbor had asked Hall’s children to ride, and thinking to frighten them he started the team on a run, asking them to jump as the team was running away. One obeyed with the result stated.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Benjamin who was born Sept. 27. 1892 and died Oct. 3, 1898. He is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery.
