Mystery in a Death.
Parkersburg, July 21.—Peter Jemison, a young man who lives about a mile south of this place, was found in a field late yesterday afternoon with a terrible gash in his throat, and the arteries of his wrists severed. Near him lay a bloody razor. He was alive when found and medical help was at once summoned. The doctor expresses the opinion that Jemison can not possibly recover. Two opinions as to the cause are prevalent. Some hold that it was a clear case of suicide. Others say that Jemison had no possible motive for suicide and that they fear foul play.
