Anna Buchholz Horsch 1867-1939

Anna Buchholz Horsch passed away at her late home December 16, at 3 p.m. after a lingering illness of cancer of the liver.

She was the daughter of Fred and Mary Buchholz and was born at Guttenburg, Iowa, Dec. 1, 1867. She was married to Henry Horsch at the church in Pleasant Valley January 11, 1894, and has been for many years a resident of Clarksville,

She is survived by her husband, two brothers and two sisters,
Wm. Buchholz of St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Bertha Wefel of Plainfield; Mrs Ida Poppe and Julius Buchholz, both of Clarksville. Services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Hammel Funeral home, with Rev. Duhan of the Evangelical and Reformed church officiating, and burial will be in the Lynwood cemetery. C. A. Hammel has charge of the interment.
