Waterloo Evening Courier and Reporter/New Hartford--June 10, 1914: Mrs. David Ackerson aged 96 yrs died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Perry Card, Saturday afternoon, June 6th of the infirmaties of old age. Mrs. Ackerson was one of the pioneers of Butler County, coming here with her husband and family in 1856 and had been a continuous resident here since that time. The funeral will be held today at the house. Interment at Oakhill Cemetery at New Hartford.
