The remains of Arthur Walsh who died at his home in Minneaplois, Thursday, October 21, were brought here Friday and funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon, by the pastor Rev. H.R. Campbell. Interment in Lynwood cemetery, beside his first wife, formerly Laura Crosby, and their little daughter. He is survived by their only son, Thomas of Seattle, Wash., his second wife, who he married in Omaha about fifteen years ago, his three brothers, Richard of Clarksville, Robert of Trent, S.D., and Thomas of Iowa City, all of whom were present at the funeral, as was also a niece, Mrs. Etta Bonner, of North Platte, Nebraska, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Emma Joslyn of Platte, S.D., and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Charles Walcott, husband and three children of Minneapolis. a nephew, Dr. Bert Joslyn and wife of Clear Lake, were here Saturday. Mr. Walsh was born in Pike county, Illinois, July 22, 1844, came to Iowa with his people and grew to manhood here. He lived in Omaha many years, but his home had been in Minneapolis the past fifteen years.
