Mrs. Henry (Alvine) Wefel
Funeral services were held yesterday for Mrs. Henry Wefel of Clarksville, who died at her home after a long illness. Services were held at the Saint John's Lutheran Church in Clarksville with the Rev. S. M. Becker in charge. Burial was in Lynwood cemetery.
She was born at Guttenburg in 1861, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wedeking. In 1880, she was married to Henry Wefel at the Pleasant Valley Church near Clarksville.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three children, Mrs Lew Sinram and Mrs Leslie Swick of Clarksville, and August Wefel of Wahpeton, North Dakota. She is also survived by three brothers, Herman, Carl, and Dick Wedeking, and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Klunder and Mrs. Gusta Hinders, all of Clarksville.
