CLARKSVIILE-Helen Hazel Gisler, 90, of Clarksville, died Tuesday, July 20, at Community Nursing Home, Clarksville, of natural causes.

She was born Aug. 13, 1913, daughter of Fred and Zella Wilson Hartwig near Clarksville in Dayton Township, Butler County. She married Clarence Gisler in August 1940. He died Jan. 11, 1990.

Mrs. Gisler graduated from Clarksville High School in 1933. She did housework for various families and worked in the Clarksville Corn Canning Factory. She was past Noble Grand of the Clarksville Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include: a daughter; Carolyn Fenneman (fiancé, Gary Huisman) of Clarksville; a stepson, Charles (Phyllis) Gisler of Palisade, Colo.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Lyle Hartwig; a sister; Lavon Schryver; and a granddaughter.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Immanuel United Church of Christ, with burial in Lynwood Cemetery, both in Clarksville. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home, Clarksville, with a 7 p.m. Rebekah service.
