PARKERSBURG - Darlene Pearl Reints, 82, of Greenfield, formerly of Parkersburg, died Thursday, July 22, at Adair County Memorial Hospital in Greenfield.

She was born Feb. 1, 1928, in Farmington, Minn., daughter of Merrill and Nora Myrle Hallcock Hamlin. She married Donald Reints Sept. 25, 1951, in rural Menlo at Jefferson Center Church.

She graduated from Stuart High School in 1946. She taught rural school in District seven south of Stuart for two years. She graduated from Allen School of Nursing as a registered nurse in 1951. She was the director of nursing at Grundy County Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center, worked at the Grundy Center Nursing Home and was a home health nurse in the Parkersburg area. She was a member of First Congregational Church in Parkersburg.

Survived by: her children, Gregory (Kris) Reints of Waterloo, Dianne (David) Jungmann of Greenfield, Renee (Jerry) Asp of Hammond, Wis., and Vance (Mary) Reints of Parkersburg; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Sanborn of Dexter.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Monday at First Congregational Church, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, both in Parkersburg.

Public visitation for an hour before services Monday at the church.

Steen Funeral Home, Greenfield, is in charge of arrangements.
