Leo G. Hundley, of rural Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, August 4, at the Sartori Memorial Hospital of a massive heart attack. He was born in Butler County on April 20,1911, son of John and Ida Giesler Hundley. He married Frances Corwin on January 20, 1938 in Cedar Falls. He farmed in the Finchford, Cedar Falls, New Hartford, Shell Rock and Waverly areas until his retirement in 1973. Survivers include his wife; three sons, Kenny of Sumpter,S.C., Dennis of Janesville and Jim of Waverly; two daughters, Judy Knudsen and Carolyn Donlon, both of Cedar Falls; two sisters, Dorothy Stafford of Shell Rock and Clara Stafford of Waverly; two brothers, Floyd and Carl, both of Cedar Falls; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. Services at the Finchford Community Bible Church with burial in the Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Cedar Falls.
