Mrs. Ella Currier and James Walsh were united in marriage Wednesday eveing, June 30, 1915, the wedding being solemnized at the beautiful new home of the groom he recently had erected. Rev. Joseph Gough, a cousin of the groom, was the officiating clergyman, and the ceremony at seven o'clock was witnessed by about forty of the relatives. Immediately following the marriage a two course wedding supper was served, Mr. Welker of the restaurant, assisted by others. having it in charge. During the evening the band went to the home and serenaded them and with many others of the town people were invited in and served refreshments. Mr. Walsh was for many years one of our prominent farmer and also a veterinary surgeon. Mrs. Walsh has been dressmaking here for several years and made many friends. Their many firends will hope for them many happy years together as they journey on down life's pathway. Those present from out of town were his daughter, Mrs. Laura Searle of Deerwood, Minnesota, Messrs. and Mesdames James and Geo Pringle of Green, Geo Coulons of Shell Rock, Mrs. W. Walsh and daughter of Clarksville, Mr. Peterson and family of Somers.
