.
Dubois & Kenison, lumber dealers in Bristow, are the successors of W. P. Smith, whom they succeeded November 7, 1881. Sevedra Kenison is the son of John Kenison, who was born in Canada, and removed when a young man to Illinois; thence to Alamakee county, in this State; thence to Grundy county, and finally to Butler county, in 1865, settling in West Point township on a farm now owned by Joseph N. Neal. He afterwards removed to Pittsford township, where he resided until his death. His wife is also deceased. They had six children, all of whom are living. Sevedra Kenison was born in Freeport, Illinois, and came to Butler county with his parents, and has been a resident of this county since that time.
