Willis Hyde, of the abstract firm of Lathrop, Hyde & Levis, and the present deputy treasurer of Butler county, was for a number of years a resident of Butler Center, where he was connected with the abstract business. The present firm was formed in 1880. He was born in Connecticut in 1875. His wife was Miss Caroline Digman, born in Ohio. They have one son, a namesake of his father.
