A. M. Gabby was born in Pennsylvania in 1804. He married Miss Nancy Knox, and, in about 1844, emigrated to Adams county, Ohio. In 1865 he came to Iowa, and now resides at Clarksville. Of the six children born to Mr. and Mrs. Gabby, three are now living – John, Thomas B., and Margaret now the wife of Charles Ramsey.
