Henry Wamsley resides on section 20. He bought his farm of Martin V. Bragg, in the fall of 1874. The farm was first settled by Douglas Bragg, father of Martin V., Mr. Wamsley has 120 acres. His father, M. B. Wamsley, was an early settler of Butler township; his biography will appear in the history of that township. Mr. Wamsley was born in Ohio, in 1849. Mrs. Wamsley was formerly Miss Ida Hicks, a daughter of John Hicks, of Clarksville. Mr. and Mrs. Wamsley have one daughter – Myrtle.
