July 12, 1913 - April 5, 2012Alice Grace (Johnson) Endreson was born July 12, 1913, to Claus and Jennie (Lindlief) Johnson. Baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, she graduated from Highview High School in 1931.
On January 19, 1936, Alice married Lloyd Endreson at her father’s home. They farmed in the Aurelia and Alta communities until they retired to Alta in 1976. She was always a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd; three sons, Larry, Roger, and Eugene; her sisters, Frances Hansen, Mildred Johnson, Marie Anderson, Lucille Cox, and Evelyn Michelson; and a brother, Kenneth Johnson.
She is survived by a daughter, Jane and John Jones, of Omaha, Nebraska; sons, Jerry and Linda Endreson, of Kansas City, Missouri, and Keith and Pam Endreson, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a daughter-in-law, Sandy Endreson, of Jackson, Minnesota; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters; one great-great granddaughter; one sister, Genevieve Smith, of Alta, Iowa; and one sister-in-law, Mildred Endreson, of Henderson, Tennessee.
