On Wednesday, May 4, 2016, God sent his greatest blessing. Gage Timothy Burke, son of Brian and Trista Burke, entered into this world at 9:41 a.m. He gave his family nine and a half hours of joy, but a lifetime of memories, before joining his heavenly Father.

During that time, he was surrounded by family and showered with snuggles, kisses, and most importantly, unconditional love. He will, always, be remembered by his perfect little sound, his tiny little ears, and his soft snuggle cheeks.

During his 36 week journey, Gage remained a constant reminder of strength and love. He loved to kick in the mornings while Mommy rocked Ellie, and they enjoyed story time together. The answer to his parents' prayers, they awaited his arrival with joyful anticipation.

His family will forever treasure the moments they shared together. He demonstrated unbelievable courage and strength and brought his family closer than ever.

We find comfort knowing that he was greeted at the gates of Heaven by his cousins, Hannah and Aiden, with Aunt Molly leading the way and is now settled in the arms of the Lord.

We will continually hold you in our hearts until we can hold you in Heaven. We love you!

Twinkle, Twinkle little star, up in heaven is where you are, flying high and twinkling bright, our guiding star, our shining light, twinkle, twinkle little star, our perfect angel is what you are.

Private family services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in rural Storm Lake, Iowa. Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in rural Storm Lake. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
